The Education Liaison team are the main point of contact for schools and colleges and we work closely with teachers and advisors to offer an extensive range of projects and activities suitable for young people from Year 5 to Year 13.
The team consists of the UK Student Recruitment team and the Widening Participation team.
The UK Student Recruitment team primarily works with Year 11, 12 and 13 students and their supporters across the UK. In addition to the University-wide Open Days and offer holder days, we organise on-campus events and activities for you and your students to visit Queen Mary University of London. We are also happy to visit schools and colleges to deliver a variety of talks and workshops and to attend school HE and career fairs.
The Widening Participation team aims to improve social mobility by improving access to higher education for under-represented groups. We organise a range of activities such as mentoring, undergraduate shadowing and our renowned summer schools. The majority of our activities are open to eligible students from any state school pan-London, please visit our FAQ pages for more information on Widening Participation and the eligibility criteria.
In the 2017-18 academic year, in addition to those we met through UCAS & School HE fairs we have worked with:
